The Modern Mystery School

What is a mystery school?

As the Bible says, we fell from grace. We came to Earth and there are huge challenges here. Along with the start of our journey, wisdom was brought which could show us the way back home.

However, that wisdom was kept secret, because we had to gain experience, knowledge, and understanding of life here on Earth. To understand who we are by experiencing cause and effect, what this world is made of and who we are within it. Our journey on Earth has been a very mixed bag, with its challenges, its defeats and victories, its great learnings and its great deceptions.

In total, the human population has forgotten where we came from and who we are.

The pathway back to this knowledge has been carefully held in secret, because until now, few of us were ready to challenge what we thought of as true.

Our ignorance, and know-it-all pride, based in fear, greed and the misunderstanding of who we are, have brought us to the brink of self-annihilation. We are at that critical point of Know Thyself or die!

One of the five remaining ancient mystery schools has opened its doors to you who are ready to question your own reality and step into your real truth. To let go of your own mistaken identity, fed by everything from family patterning to mass consciousness, to look deeply into yourself and to be willing to accept, in humility,  your need for healing, forgiveness and transformation. To accept the truth that, although you might not feel it at the start, you are a divine and eternal part of God. A spirit having a human experience and not the other way around.

This is called the GREAT WORK! This path is the most rewarding work in the world! And anything but easy!

Who was King Solomon?

He was the son of King David, of David and Goliath fame. They were ancestors of Jesus. King David was a warrior, while his son, Solomon, was a healer.

King Solomon(also Salomon) had a mission: Pull together all the best healers, shamans, mystics, wise men, of the planet to create healing practices which would lead to enlightenment. His huge temple is legendary. For several decades, this extraordinary assemblage created the pathways which would work for all people. Some of this wisdom is way more ancient than King Solomon, 3500 years ago. Maybe up to 8000 years old! Including the Universal Kabbalah, a core teaching.

Lineage Holders for The Modern Mystery School

All lineages have main key holders, individuals who hold and anchor the lineage on the planet and hold the authority to keep the door of the mystery school open to those who seek the Light. In this lineage, the main key holders are titled the Third Order and in union, they administer and attend to maintaining the purity of the lineage and its teachings.

The Council of Twelve

In 2017, when the Third Order was initiated, the Council of 12 was also activated. The Council of 12 is a group of 12 women, high-level initiates from all over the world who serve as leadership for the Modern Mystery School.

The Council of 12 work directly with the Third Order to execute the directives of the Hierarchy of Light for service to humanity on this earth. The 12 women provide council, confirmation and conference to the members of the Third Order about the various projects and missions of the MMS.

As of 2018, the first women to occupy the seats on the Council of 12 are:

East: Eiko Gudnason, Luisa Nakagome, Tsukiko Kimura, Maiko Machiya, Sincere Rohi (Hiroko Ito), Hitomi Shibuya

West: Franca Lanyon, Kate Bartram-Brown, Rita van den Berg, Liza Rossi, Ann Donnelly, Theresa Bullard

The women who occupy the seats of the Council of 12 rotate through their roles as is needed so you will see some of these women shift and change year-to-year.

The installation in 2017 has allowed for the Goddess power and connection with the Shekinah to be anchored through these structures of the Third Order. This manifests as the implementation of the various levels of operation required for the running of the Modern Mystery School.

What impact has the mystery school phenomenon had over the course of history?

Did you ever wonder why certain people have contributed to the understanding of humanity in larger ways than the rest of us? How did a Leonardo de Vinci, an Isaac Newton, a Joan of Arc, a Carl Jung, even, Jesus, ever tap into the revolutionary consciousness that they brought to the world?

They were all initiated into the mysteries. These teachings opened them to their deeper selves, their sacred missions and thus their greater capacities and they delivered to humanity a revolutionary new level of awareness, an infusion of insight and greater understanding. The smashing of old myths, a turning of consciousness. In spite of the personal risks, which were in most cases severe!

Is there a public face to the mystery schools over history?

Yes. The Masons evolved from those who built the temple. Their understandings are substantial but incomplete. They were never invited into the temple. They gained a lot and missed more. Jesuits, Knights Templar, Theosophy, Rosecrusions, all reflect the influence of these carefully guarded mysteries.

How are MMS processes different from other spiritual practices?

We have so many choices today, massage and other bodywork, meditation, yoga and martial arts, Buddhism, New Age, psychics and mediums, healing through the arts. So many choices!

Mystery School has this core mission: Know Thyself. Activations, initiations, classes and daily practices (rituals and meditations) work together to aid you on your own, individual path. They are central and they work. If you need a massage, get one. If you are drawn to the arts, go for it! Martial arts are part of the story, do them! Watch out for “readers”. They might or might not be helpful along the way. You will become your own authority because the processes connect you with your spiritual self and your own guidance. You will have great support with a personal guide and community who, like you, are growing into who they truly are as divine gods and goddesses!

What if I already have a religion or spiritual practice?

King Solomon welcomed all cultures, religions and backgrounds. So does Modern Mystery School. You have choice. You will be empowered to use whatever works for you, as long as it is true to the Light. (You will not be at home in the Mystery School if you have darker motives.)

Does MS encourage quiet reflection like in a monastery?

Quiet reflection is an essential daily practice, but then most of us get up and “go to work”, whatever that is. We enter the human world, where we can participate and grow. When you have done your practices, that daily life is more in balance and your life begins to change in ways that draw to you the best daily life circumstances that you are ready for. Changing yourself from the inside out will reflect on the outer world and vice versa. What you have been “putting up with” will have to change. What you have been “yearning” for will become more important. Things will have to shift to accommodate your new sense of who you are. This road can be bumpy, but “hang in there”! Your world is changing! You can get somewhere new and more in synch with your truth.

Is this for real?

I was very skeptical at the beginning. I still keep a little skepticism, because as we are all human beings in an imperfect world, I believe this is healthy. Yes. This is VERY real. I have traveled a spiritual and transformational path for nearly 50 years and this is so very real! I could never have gotten to where I am without this journey. I did this myself, because that is really how we become empowered. No one is going to hand you a magic pill. There are points where you are ready for a new level of initiation, new upleveling. But, it is up to you, with your own readiness, timing and commitment how you use your opportunities. If you use what is available through the school, your dedication will be rewarded. Your process of progression is unique to you and these practices work. No matter how far you get, there is always a new level of training!

What is a path of progression?

Each person chooses what and when they will incorporate what the MS has to offer. Typically, you start with a Life Activation. You might then progress to our basic class, Empower Thyself, which includes the first level initiation. At this point, you are considered an “Adept”. The next step might be a 10-month inner study of the Kabbalah, or Healer’s Academy, where you learn how to serve others through Life Activation. This is also the second initiation. From here, there are two deeper courses of study, the warrior path and the healer path. To accompany these pathways are many healing sessions which can de-clutter your reality and set you more securely on your mission. They tend to de-emphasize the human “story” and drama and work energetically, to circumvent the negative ego.

How is MS different from therapy?

You might ask yourself: “Is the therapy I am engaged in helping me to Know myself deeply or is the goal to help me fit into a bad situation?” MS is about Knowing Thyself deeply and finding and working your true mission on Earth. You empower you in your life. If the therapy you are doing supports this, great! There is certainly a place for it. Here is another question: When you gain an insight, are you encouraged to make a story around it? These stories can interfere with our growth.
